Should I buy a '02 Dodge RAM 4.7L?

I found a 02 RAM 4.7L truck for $ 7900, after making the revision of some, I found a place where the truck's engine problems to owners, basically, buy a new engine due to a poorly made, no engine sludge and warranty it covers. there was no appeal. my b / f claims that may have been just the vehicles, in particular, because I do not remember. I happen and buy? I want the truck, But do not want the headache of having to buy another engine right after getting the truck.

I would not buy anything Chrysler now are closing to many of those factory-trained dealers. Chrysler already is in bankruptcy and even if there was a recall on the engine of 4.7 would take an act of God to get it replaces. Especially do not buy Dodge Ram comsumers check reports that were constructed poorly and fall apart, and if your engine does not stop its transmission. GM manufactures a truck, both sweet Chevy and GMC trucks are outstanding with high praise from different lots of trucks agency WHO test. They are built to last. Until 2008 I did not like Ford trucks, but are increasing at the plate now and there are very nice new trucks, with great reports. Cars.com check or edmonds.com or kbb.com all commentary.
