Owning up to a total length of only 160.4 inches for the hatchback version and only 166.8 inches for the sedan version, the Daewoo Lanos has been considered one of the smallest cars in the business. But I think it is much smaller than one of the smallest cars, the Mini Cooper. The Daewoo Lanos is not that small.
The Daewoo Lanos has really been designed in two versions, as mentioned, the hatchback and sedan. The tailgate has two doors, while there are four-door sedan version. The vehicle's wheelbase is 99.2 inches, and it is 56.4 inches and 66.1 inches wide. Its fuel tank may sometimes have 12.8 gallons of gasoline and both versions can really take a seat and five passengers.
Manufactured by Daewoo, the Daewoo Lanos has been in production since 1997. However, the saga of this car line ended after a couple of years in 2002. When production stopped, and niche space left blank was filled in by the Daewoo Kalos in late 2002. It has been said that its jurisdiction was actually the Toyota Echo, Hyundai Accent, Suzuki Swift, the Dodge / Plymouth Neon, Ford Focus, Ford Escort/ZX2, the Honda Civic and the Kia Rio. The Hyundai Accent is considered the main competition woolly Daewoo.
The Daewoo Lanos is really a compact car. The design and style was wearing the Giugiaro-masterpiece. The power of this vehicle came from the family GM 1 D-TEC. These engines ranged from a 1.5 L SOHC to DOHC 1.6-liter. These motors are dual head and held four cylinders. Each offered to work with either a system manual or five-speed transmission shift optional four-speed automatic transmission.
It is said that the Daewoo Lanos is a small car. However, this was possible on the basis that it is the smallest vehicle in the trio of passenger cars hit the market of cars in 1999 from its manufacturer Daewoo. It was a front-wheel drive vehicle and was made available in three trim levels comprising the S, SE, and the SX. The latter was considered the top-line trim level between the three levels of the Daewoo Lanos.
