If you are planning to buy a new car before the year ends, you're in luck: the incentives for the coming months are determined to improve and that operators try to clear their lots of old inventory to make room for new models.

But before getting down to your local dealer will want to have done some research first. The fact that incentives (ie rebates, low interest financing) are being offered does not mean that you are getting the best deal.

5 Steps to saving money

You can save money on your new car as follows:

Shop around - Assuming you've already decided on a particular brand / model, you need to get several offers from competing distributors. For example, if you're buying a Toyota Avalon, you'll want to have at least three dealers provide you the prices of comparable cars equipped before making a decision. They expect to find differences of up to several hundred dollars in deals.

Get discounts - More on all the discounts available in your car. If GM's employee price offered in the Pontiac G8, you may still be eligible for other incentives, including graduates recent college, military discounts, etc

Pay cash or finance elsewhere - having its funding provisions of other places will let you negotiate the lowest price for your new car, but without introducing other considerations. Also, if you get a lower rate on another site where you can pay cash for your Honda Accord, why not opt for the large discount offered?

Run a credit report - If the planning to finance the purchase of its Ford Fusion, get a copy of your credit report first. That affection 2.9% financing only available to consumers the best - you want to ensure that no mistakes are made muddy your credit history. Correcting problems first, then apply.

Sell your car yourself - Many people go to the dealership planning to trade in their cars.
