Why Dodge Journey has only two types of engines available?

When Chrysler introduced the first trip. There are three engine choices, a 2.4L four-cylinder, a 2.7L FFV V6 and a 3.5L V6 is available in the U.S. and Canada. Now I do not see any newspaper or magazine articals mention anything about 2.7 V6 engine available in NA is not available in NA?
