If I put a performance chip in my 2500 Dodge diesel, I have to put in a 4 "exhaust?

I have a K & N air filter with a box of cold air but I do not know if it would cause problems if I went to the same exhaust pipe. The chip will be 90 more horsepower around. It's a 2003 model.

What year of diesel have? If you have a 2004.5 and up and has a population of 4 inch turbo back exhaust. 2003 to 2004 have 3.5-inch turbo muffler and 4 inch exhaust to the tail. 2002 and earlier CTD think I was 3 or 3.5 inch exhaust stock. Just added a 4-inch pipe for my new turbo with a silencer free flow (diamond eye). However, 2004.5 and even had a cat and most men I've talked to is going to replace the cat with a freer flow of cat (Aero) and added a free flow muffler. As long as you have a CAI, free flow muffler and cat it should drop the ECJ, which is a murderer when dragging turbos or add the Powerchip. I would seriously get a pyrometer placed (pre-turbo) to keep an eye on your EGT (exhaust gas temperature) to ensure that no Turbo is going to cook I have ever seen in my 1200F juice attitude monitor at level 3 when you get on the go pedal.
