1968 Dodge Charger
I'm waiting for the 2009 Camaro in the success of the floors of exhibits, is due out around June sometime, I'm hearing impact on prices gas affecting the release of the Camaro, but I heard this back in the mid-1970s also, and usually the people saying these things have no idea what staying power of muscle cars.
I'm listening to such things as, Chevrolet will only release it with a V6 engine option now, and V8 is not available, do not think this is true, but if it is, there is absolutely no point of Chevrolet to waste their time with him, just put the resources in the corvette, and let that the Camaro die as a hero of the muscle car scene.
Hugest fan I'm not wrong, I am the Camaro, Camaro, but nobody loves me like a Camaro that only is available with a V6, the Camaro has a legacy to match and maintain that legacy to be one of the biggest, baddest muscle cars on the planet and can not do this with a V6, the price of gas is not necessary to dictate the future of a legendary muscle car like the Camaro, back in the mid 1970s, I remember an issue of one of the car magazines, but do not remember exactly what it was, but on the cover was a tombstone with high performance born 1964 died 1976.
It never did die, but has lost some popularity for a while, but we have people like Ralph Nader to thank for that, never muscle cars lost popularity among the people who matter, people who love them, and people who grew up with them, will always be people like me, people who can not live without muscle cars, people who know that America is based on more powerful, better aspect, and the car more fun in the world, and there must only be a few people like me to keep alive the American muscle.
When carrying the Chevrolet New Camaro will be a great event in the muscle car world, even if you do not like what it looks like the new Camaro, which marks the return of a legend, and if you does not think the Camaro is a legend, just spend some time searching the Internet on the Camaro, "Google It" and you learn very quickly that it is a legend daunting, and could be the same again if Chevrolet does well, I say "KUDOS" to them for having the strength and courage to bring back the Camaro.
When re-launch of the Camaro, has big shoes to fill, and can not do this without a lot of engine choices, as it had back in the day. I agree that technology has made cars in large numbers in recent years, and to make it easier now then it ever did, and with less inches Cu, but not all about power, a large block has a certain prestige, that commands respect and gets it, a large block is a feeling, is that deep bass rumble, is feeling all the way to pair pedal feel is easily converted car shapes hand, and the merging of the rear wheels, and nothing else is exactly the same.
Nobody can take away from us muscle cars, who have tried before, and will try again, but I do not know, I could never understand, is the simple fact that there are plenty of monster muscle car that would never allow that to happen, we'll always be up, and always have something to say about those people who think that can get rid of all that live, muscle cars, our spirits can not be dimmed, our desire can not be removed, our love for the look and feel of a real car American power can not be dampened, we will always defend what we love, and I love the camaro, and I always will.
